How it works

  1. Sorted by what they are for

Boundaries, calm, focus, gratitude, growth, habits, patience. Pick the shelf instead of scrolling until something lands.

  2. Heart the ones that work

Favourites take their own chip, so the eight that do something for you rise out of the fifty eight that do not.

  3. Write your own

The button at the top adds yours under whichever category you file it in. Most of the good ones are things somebody said to you once.

Asked about Affirmations

What is the Affirmations module in Cadence?

Short lines worth rereading, sorted by what you might need them for. Boundaries, calm, focus, gratitude, growth, habits, patience. Pick the shelf instead of scrolling until something lands.

Can I switch Affirmations off?

Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Affirmations, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.

Does Affirmations sync between the Mac and the iPhone?

Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Affirmations keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.

Keep Affirmations. Ignore the other twenty five.
