Everything logged that day
Chart
14, 30 or 90 days
The Food Tracking screen reading 1,924 of 2,000 calories today with a ring almost closed, a bar chart of the last fourteen days, and a history of meals with their calories and times.
Logged by meal, so the history reads back as a day.

How it works

  1. Logged by meal

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and the snack at four, each with its own time. The history reads back as a day you recognise.

  2. A ring that closes

One thousand nine hundred and twenty four of two thousand. Close enough that you can decide about the biscuit on the evidence.

  3. Fourteen days of context

The target stays drawn across the chart. One large Tuesday then sits inside a fortnight of ordinary ones instead of standing there looking like a verdict.

Asked about Food Tracking

What is the Food Tracking module in Cadence?

What you ate and roughly what it came to, against a target you picked. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and the snack at four, each with its own time. The history reads back as a day you recognise.

Can I switch Food Tracking off?

Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Food Tracking, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.

Does Food Tracking sync between the Mac and the iPhone?

Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Food Tracking keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.

Keep Food Tracking. Ignore the other twenty five.
