Forty five days until the quarter ends sounds like ages. Sixty seven percent through it does not. The bar is what makes the date feel real.

Lisbon says flights booked, hotel to sort. The marathon says the training block starts in two weeks. Enough to remember what the date means when it surfaces.

Each countdown takes its own tint, so you pick the one you were looking for out of five without reading any of them.

What is the Countdowns module in Cadence?

Can I switch Countdowns off?
Yes. The library in Settings has a switch beside Countdowns, and turning it off takes it out of the sidebar, the search and the Today screen. The other 26 switchable modules work the same way.
Does Countdowns sync between the Mac and the iPhone?
Yes, once iCloud sync is unlocked for $14.99, paid once and covering the Mac and the iPhone together. Until then Countdowns keeps its data on the device you typed it into, and it goes nowhere else.
